4. Videos and User Content
Users and creators may upload videos subject to our Community Guidelines.
By uploading content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and distribute that content.
You remain responsible for content you upload.
5. License to the Platform
By uploading content, you grant African Story MovieBox Shorts a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, to the extent necessary to operate the Platform, to host, store, reproduce, encode, process, display, stream, distribute, promote, and technically modify your content.
This license is intended to allow us to operate services such as video hosting, thumbnails, streaming, recommendations, search, advertising, and Platform promotion.
You retain ownership of your original content unless otherwise agreed.
6. Content Removal
We may remove, restrict, disable, or refuse to publish content that:
- Violates these Terms
- Violates our Community Guidelines
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Creates legal or security risks
- Contains prohibited material
- Is fraudulent or misleading
- Is reported through an applicable complaint process
7. Premium Content
Some videos or features may require payment or a subscription.
Access may be subject to the applicable subscription or purchase terms displayed at the time of payment.
Premium access does not automatically grant permission to download, redistribute, reproduce, or commercially exploit protected content.
8. Payments
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize applicable charges.
Payment processing may be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant payment provider.
9. Creator Monetization
Eligible creators may participate in monetization programs where available.
Eligibility does not guarantee earnings.
Creator earnings may depend on factors including:
- Eligible views
- Advertising revenue
- Premium content activity
- Platform rules
- Applicable deductions
- Fraud or invalid-traffic reviews
- Payment-provider requirements
We may withhold, adjust, suspend, or review earnings where there is evidence of fraud, manipulation, invalid activity, chargebacks, copyright violations, or other violations of Platform rules.
10. Advertisements
The Platform may display advertisements within or around content.
We do not guarantee the availability, performance, or revenue generated by advertisements.
Creators must not encourage users to click advertisements artificially or participate in any form of advertising manipulation.
11. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Platform to:
- Commit fraud
- Upload malware
- Attack or disrupt the Platform
- Circumvent security systems
- Scrape or harvest information unlawfully
- Manipulate engagement
- Upload stolen content
- Infringe copyright
- Harass or threaten others
- Upload illegal content
- Misrepresent yourself
- Conduct unauthorized commercial activity
12. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate third-party services.
We are not responsible for the independent operation, policies, availability, or security practices of third-party services.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the Platform will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available.
14. Limitation of Liability

Users may also request account closure.

Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory legal rights or requirements that apply to the user.
